Kalenteri kertoo, että lähtöön on enää hetki. Vielä ei kuitenkaan ehdi istahtamaan alas!
Olemme käyneet tiimikaveri-Arjan kanssa kävelemässä maakuntauraa pitkin. Ensin 4 tuntia ja seuraavalla viikolla 5 tuntia 40 minuuttia. Näissä patikoinneissa on tarkasteltu varusteita, päivärepun kantoa, sykettä ja jaksamista, vaikka korkeuserot ovatkin Keski-Suomessa pikkuisen muuta kuin tulevalla reitillämme Balkanilla.
Kesän aikana olemme myös olleet markkinoilla myymässä arpoja ja muita tuotteita. On ollut kiva huomata kuinka pienemmissäkin ”kylissä” on todella pirteitä tapahtumia joihin kannattaa ehdottomasti Kapua – sanomaa viedä.
Lauantaina 22.8 26 klo 10-14 olemme Tikkakosken tohinatorilla – tervetuloa moikkaamaan ja ostamaan arpoja!
Yksi tatuointitempaus järjestettiin Kesä – heinäkuussa Fireline Tattoon kanssa täällä Jyväskylässä. 7 ihmistä sai upeat tatuoinnit, ja niiden tuotto maksettiin keräykseeni. Antti Rossi on ensimmäisiä tatuointiyrittäjiä Jyväskylässä ja hänen lauseensa minulle, ”Kun apua pyydetään, sitä pitää antaa”, kolahti! Tällainen tempaus oli niin loistava jo tunnelmaltaan, että pari päivää ennen lähtöämme tulee uusi hyväntekeväisyyspäivä Bad Eggs tattoon kanssa Vaajakoskella. Päivän aikana tehdään pieniä tatuointeja hyvän asian puolesta. Bad Eggs tattoon artisti Elina on tunnettu hyväntekijänä mm. eläintensuojeluun, joten hänen kanssaan on ilo tehdä yhteistyötä. On mahtavaa huomata, kuinka erilaiset ihmiset ja ideat voivat yhdistyä yhteisen tavoitteen äärelle. Kolmaskin tatuointitempaus on suunniteltu syksyyn, mutta siitä myöhemmin lisää :)
8.8.26 tapasimme toisiamme ja Kynnys ry:n työntekijöitä Helsingissä. Oli mukava päästä näkemään jälleen ja juttelemaan lisää kasvotusten. Saimme myös infopläjäyksen tulevasta vaelluksesta Aventuran edustajalta. Kaikki pienet valmistautumisen yksityiskohdat alkavat nyt saada aivan uuden merkityksen.
Kun katson taaksepäin, huomaan, että tämä matka on jo tähän mennessä ollut erittäin monipuolinen, haastava ja kasvattava projekti. Tässä on tarvittu sitkeyttä, luovuutta, rohkeutta ja ennen kaikkea halua tehdä jotain hyvää. Kapua on läsnä ihan kaikessa, välillä se on tullut uniinkin.
Vinkkinä tuleville kapuajille sanoisin, että tehkää mahdollisimman paljon ennen matkaa! On ollut palkitsevaa esitellä Kapuaa ja Pohjois-Makedonian hanketta sillä, että olemme lähdössä matkaan. Ihmiset kokevat tukemisen ja tsemppaamisen ihan eri tavalla ennen matkaa, kuin matkan jälkeen.
Kesän aikana itse sovin valmiiksi koko loppuvuoden Kapua-jutut, niin reissun jälkeen voin hetken (ehkä, jos malttaa!) hengähtää ja sitten tehdä sovitut jutut :) Enää ei sitten tarvitse syksyn pimeydessä ja talven tullen käyttää voimia isojen juttujen ideoimiseen. Ja lokakuussahan juhlimme Kapuan 20v taivalta Paraisilla!
Matkaan Pohjois-Makedoniaan lähdetään tiiminä, mutta jokainen tähän mennessä kohdattu ihminen on omalla tavallaan osa tätä matkaa ♡
